Congrats Miramonte DMR!!

Kate, Ava, Ania, and Audrey won the DMR at Campo's DAL meet last night!!

Under the lights and for a sold-out covid-reduced crowd, the girls surpassed their seeded 3rd place spot.  The boys' race right before theirs ended in a National record so the crowd and the teams were energized!

The DMR is a multi-distance race, so here are the legs/distances with MHS runner order:

Kate - 1200 meters, Ava - 400, Ania - 800, Audrey - 1600

The MHS DMR (Distance Medley Relay) team is currently ranked 12th in the Nation!

And of course, don't miss the MHS DMR interview on MileSplitCA.

Congrats!!

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
