First day of 21 = First ER visit

You are welcome to call to hear the long story, but it goes something like Jack broke some rules, lost phone privileges as a consequence, got angy and hit the wall. They spent 5 hours at Children's.  Jack's right pinkie and some assorted bones in his hand are broken.  They manipulated it on Friday and then splinted it. Next week we will visit a pediatric hand plastic surgeon.  Yes, he's right handed.

Well, I never thought I'd say it, but I kinda miss 2020.

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
