Jack is home!

His flight was delayed about an hour, and he was the very last person to leave the plane, but Jack is home!!!  He is crazy tan, obsessed with Scuba diving, really not very clean (he rinsed with soap daily but not sure he ever showered, changed his clothes, or washed his hair) and happy to be home.   He isn't actually taller than Kate yet as it appears in this picture, but it is close.

Jack had a great time at Seacamp and passed his Scuba tests on the first try, which only 2 campers did!  He is already asking to go back for next summer :).

I'll try to get more updates, but if you want details, you might want to face time with him.

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
