Halloween Pictures

Halloween was a little out of the ordinary for us this year.  Gone are the days when we take all of our little kids door to door.

Jack has never really been a fan of the costume thing (I get it, I usually just put on some cat ears) but we convinced him to walk with us.

Kate had soccer practice, although she was a super cute Minion at school.  I'll see if she took any pictures.

Tom stayed home from school on Tuesday but was feeling better by Tuesday night and ready to march the town as a scary George Washington.  But of course most people thought he was Alexander Hamilton.

Will was a scary creature - faceless and carrying a big sword.  He managed to lose a tooth eating a piece of candy :).

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
