No more training wheels!

Last weekend Tom and I took off his training wheels!  We have to go to the parks and playgrounds to ride - much different than how the others learned.

but since Tom and I ride our tandem often to/from school, he already knew how to balance, and since he is older and on a small bike, riding took about 30 seconds to learn!

And the timing was perfect... now that we have baseball games to watch, Tom can ride and ride and ride at the playground at the field where Will plays.  Great outside time :).

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
