Kate's team won their league!

They did it--  1st place in NorCal League play with a solid win in the rain, wind, and cold!  Our Silver 2 League record: 8-1-1.

All Alex could say as we walked back to the parking lot was CHAMPIONS!

Overall, the girls went 22-8-4 with games and tournaments since Spring.
They had a wonderful season...  lots of winning, but also learned how to play hard and come back after losing a game.

Too cold to get a picture today and not everyone was there, so here's one with pink jerseys.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
