We had a great time at our first wrestling tournament! It was our home meet so we all got to help. Kate has awesome at bringing the wrestlers from the bullpen down to the mats.
Jack wrestles in the bantam division and Will as a tot. Both divisions use 4-person brackets, so 1st -4th place. Most touneys will give trophy to 1, medals to 2-4, which is good for the younger kids. In the older divisions if you place lower, no medal.
Jack and Will both lost their first match. Will was in tears :(. They both came back in the next round to win! Will's score something like 22-5, Jack's was close against a teammate, but he won 8-7. I guarantee those two will be practicing together - it was a great match.
