Ralphy was out on a bender

Personally, I thought it was cardinal karma.... Ralphy was out missing for over 24 hours.  In the past, he has always come home by first light on any of his hunting trips.  Yesterday he had left a mouse as a present, but was no where to be seen. (As a side note, I think I may have been the only family member missing Ralph.)

And then there he was at the back door first thing this am!  He was starving, but looked fine.  Hopefully we can keep him inside for awhile.  Welcome home, Ralph!

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
