Two week countdown!

Our flights home are two weeks from today.  The kids have travelled a lot throughout Europe and the Middle East, but this will be their first time back to the States in just under one year.  They are very excited :).

The next two weeks are crazy busy, continuing from this past week.  Today is Jack's First Communion, and then we will celebrate at Build a Bear.

Next week Paul will take the older two to Matilda, and then start the parties in earnest... EC/K picnic, Teacher Appreciation, Talent Show, Sports Day (same as W shoulder check and packers here), 3rd grade picnic, 1st grade picnic, and last day of school.  Then we move to the hotel for a few days, then home!

Stay tuned for many pictures ahead.  Although Paul and I will be running around from place to place, so hopefully we can capture most of it, but maybe not all.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
