Maldives vacay day 4 - Baa Atoll

Thursday was another beautiful day in paradise. Our resort has the most amazing service and facilities, the food is great, and he beach wonderful.

We did our usual things, breakfast, beach time, lunch, beach time, etc. But we also did out one planned activity, a dolphin cruise! We spent about two hours on the boat chasing dolphins. They are so beautiful. We saw some jumping and some swimming with the boat. They are hard to catch with an iPhone camera :).

Besides the dolphins, there aren't too many island creatures. Mainly ants, hermit crabs and geckos. Tom really does not like the ants and hermit crabs.

Today (Friday) is our last full day here. Saturday will be a very long travel day. I'll try to post today's activities and tomorrow's itinerary tonight.

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
