Maldives vacay day 3 - Baa Atoll

We spent all day Wednesday enjoying the resort. We swam in the pool, at the beach, ran on the path, and just enjoyed the weather. We snorkelled a ton enjoying all the amazing fish right outside our villa. Although somehow A dropped her snorkel piece, so we will have to share. Really not sure where it is, but the waves must have taken it. Not a huge deal as we were taking turns anyway. Tom isn't too thrilled of the water yet.

We took Tom to the kids club to see what they have; they have a collection of 50 dump trucks! Tom was thrilled. We had brought one with us but were able to borrow another.

The weather is hot. In the 80s to 90s and humid. The ocean is very warm too.

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
