Nanny Interviews - Round 2

We decided to interview for a nanny job again this week to see if we could find anyone to help, especially with after school.  We interviewed one nanny, Lori, and everyone loved her!  So she will be starting in February and will be living with us until we move in June.  Nearly everyone here has a nanny around here.  With our schedules being so busy with school activities, projects, and trying to explore London right now, we decided we will embrace the London lifestyle for the remainder of our time here :).  Lori also loves Scout and the kittens, and with a view trips coming up, and all of our dog walkers moving, she has agreed to take care of the pets while we travel.

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
