Egypt day 2

We have had a very busy morning! Breakfast at 7 and tour starting at 8.

We saw 9 pyramids and the Sphinx! We had tickets to inside the great pyramid which was a rather tough climb for some of our more height conscious and claustrophobic children.

We rode camels and walked all around the pyramids and went to the boat museum. It was rather foggy this am, so we might try to go back tomorrow.

We had lunch at the Mena House hotel and it was really yummy after our tough climb.

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
