I have finally memorized my phone numbers!

Only 6+ weeks in and I have finally memorized my phone numbers.  It is different than if moving within the States and had an idea of how the numbers are listed.  Here it is rather confusing as I don't know the parts of the number.  To make matters more confusing, mobile numbers are written in a different format and have a totally different prefix!

I do know  few things:
020 = London land line
07xxx = UK mobile.

Our house phone is written out 020 xxxx xxxx
My cell is written 07880 xxx xxx and Paul's 07780 xxx xxx.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
