Queen's Jubilee = 2 bank holidays

So in the UK real estate is totally up for grabs until both parties sign the contract.  We are currently waiting to get the contract on Lyndhurst signed by the landlord... but two days of bank holidays are holding up the process.  The worry is that the landlord supposedly had other second showings last week, and very well could have gotten a more attractive offer.  Ours was a little low price wise, and it comes with 4 kids, 2 cats and a dog.  Not a strong position.

So, hopefully on Wednesday early am we will hear back and know what is going on.  We do have other apartments to fall back on if needed.

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
