Packing update June 16th

We have gotten a lot done the past couple of days, with only 2 days left before the packers get here sometime between 9-11am on Monday.

Last night Kate and I packed quite a lot, going through all of K's, T's and A's clothes.  Today we have J & W clothes to do, plus organize the things from the garage.   Over the past week we have filled another 4 kitchen sized bags with clothes for Goodwill.  I'll itemize and drop those off later :).  Right now they are in the car to keep them out of the way.

On Sunday we will need to organize all kitchen things (no small appliances) and get them ready for packing.  I will try to put together a small box for our air shipment with a few things to use right away.

Then the biggest thing on Sunday will be making sure all of the clothes we have picked out will actually fit in the suitcases.  If not, we will need to take some out and add them to our air shipment.  Right now Paul has two of our big suitcases in London, so we will need to pack and empty our one template here and make sure we can stuff everything in within 3 times :).

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
