Those email addresses paid off!

So I always sign the kids up for email addresses when they are about 2 days old.  So far pretty much only Grandpa Mike uses them.  Ok, and the random person who I think lives in WA who thinks she has K's address.  But anyway, we applied for our UK visas today (painstaking) and we all needed an email address!  Thank goodness we had them and had them all set up to forward to Anjie.

Next steps - 1. New passport pics this weekend.  2. Biometrics scans for P, A, K, J on Monday and Tuesday.  Those consist of pictures, fingerprints, etc.  W and T are off the hook as they are under 5.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
