Hampstead, Here we come!

The kids have been accepted to a school in London, so we will be moving to Hampstead!  We had been going back and forth between city and country, and are excited about our opportunity to explore London.  Since it is a short amount of time, hopefully the kids won't miss green grass too much.  But the Heath is very close, as well as the Zoo.

Paul will be looking at properties next week, and hopefully will be able to get a lease signed right away, so we have a destination to ship our things to on June 19 when the packers are here! We will be shipping things by both air and sea.  Air shipment takes about 2 weeks, sea closer to 6, but the Olympics very well may slow down ship/customs times.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
