Pregnancy Journal Entry 5/12/2010

Wednesday, May 12, 2010 - 31 1/2 weeks!

I had an appt. with Dr. Martin last Friday and it went well. He confirmed that the ultrasound looked great, and no more worries about placenta location. I have gained 22 lbs so far - which he is fine with. Said I could keep gaining more weight :). I think I usually gain about 30, so I am pretty on track with that.

I have appointments every 2 weeks for the next couple of appointments, then weekly starting at 36. Still plenty of time to go! I have started nesting, which so far has meant moving K to the guest room, getting Will's room ready for the baby, and trying to decorate Jack's room. Today we had it painted green (J's fav color) so he no longer has the pink and purple bedroom :). I am also trying to plan out our studies for the summer, and still working on finding a nanny/babysitter to help out.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
