We are very sorry to announce the passing of Paul's uncle Neil. We were very lucky to spend time with him just a couple of weeks ago at Auntie Sarah's wedding.

Neil Edward Mason, formerly of Bath, ME, died Monday, December 28, 2009 at Malcom Randall VA Medical Center in Gainesville, Florida.

Neil was born in Bath on September 19, 1944, the son of Paul and Una Haskell Mason. He graduated from Morse High School in 1962 and served in the US Navy from 1964 -1969. He worked for BIW, in the tin shop, from 1969 until he retired in 2004.

After retirement, Neil enjoyed traveling up and down the east coast to visit his children and grandchildren. He was an avid Red Sox fan and coached little league in Bowdoinham, ME for several years. He enjoyed playing golf with all his children and was adored by his grandchildren.

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
