Here are pics from K's first day of kindergarten. She had a great time, and said she was too busy to miss us! She was definitely tired when she got home and being at school all day!
Kate is moving up in gymnastics to the developmental program (from preschool program) to Mighty Mites 1. It is the first class in the competitive track, there is also a recreational program, if we decide to go that route. The class meets 2 x a week for 1 1/2 hours, so not sure what the boys and I are going to do! Kate is thrilled to move up, and is looking forward to class starting next week.
Today is Kate's first day of Kindergarten!! She has a one hour orientation today to meet friends, talk with Ms. Consolazio and explore the room. We did meet some friends and Ms. C on Monday at the PTA Ice Cream social. Tomorrow starts her real school day, getting on the bus at 8:45 and at school all day! We will pack a lunch, a snack, and water. She can buy milk for lunch. She gets home at 3:45 - wow! We will post pics later.
Here are pics from the Air & Water show on Sunday. We went on the ferris wheel, which was the scariest thing I have ever done! I thought the cars were all glass, but they are open on the sides, and the wind was blowing all around. We didn't let anyone move! The view was pretty cool, but we won't be going back up anytime soon!
The month of July kept us busy with a big project remodeling our master bathroom. It is almost done - we are just waiting on the shower glass and a final inspection, which will take place this coming Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. Here are pics from the first stages, I will post some more showing the almost complete project later.
