First day of Kindergarten!!

Today is Kate's first day of Kindergarten!! She has a one hour orientation today to meet friends, talk with Ms. Consolazio and explore the room. We did meet some friends and Ms. C on Monday at the PTA Ice Cream social. Tomorrow starts her real school day, getting on the bus at 8:45 and at school all day! We will pack a lunch, a snack, and water. She can buy milk for lunch. She gets home at 3:45 - wow! We will post pics later.

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
