Update 4/10/2009

Kate - She is obsessed with planning our trip to Disney World later this month. She is making lists for what to bring, what we need to buy (groceries) what we should do first, what rides she can go on (height restrictions) and crossing off calendar days to count down. Lots of great learning, but she talks about little else :).

Jack - Will be 3 on Monday! He really wants to get a bicycle, but we will see if he actually wants to ride it. He climbed the tree by himself for the first time yesterday!

Will - Is saying a lot of words now, like mommy, daddy, dog, all down, night night. He loves to give hugs to Kate and Jack when they first wake up in the morning.

Grandpa Bill - has been sick and actually in the hospital all week. If you have a minute, please say a prayer for him.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
