Update 3/4/2009

Well, it is finally March, so spring is on its way! We all can't wait to get outside to play and plant!!

Kate - Is snack girl today at school, one of her most favorite things! The kids get to do fun things when it is their snack day (about 1 time a month) like lead the line, pour juice for snack, turn lights on/off, etc. Kate is really enjoying her Irish dance class, and we have signed up for next session. She looks very graceful and strong doing the steps.

Jack - Has hit the terrible twos even though he will be 3 next month. He has started throwing temper tantrums when he doesn't get his way, and then there is the constant picking on Kate (which I guess won't ever end).

Will - Has an ear infection. We tried to get him to beat it on his own, but last night after dance class he started getting a fever and was super cranky, so we ran up to Walgreens to fill his Amox Rx that Dr. M had given us on Monday. We are really battling his eczema on his neck, face, and have a whole bunch of creams of different strengths to get rid of it! He has very dry skin that is prone to rashes, so we are supposed to slather him with Aquafor or vaseline all the time to keep it from getting worse.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
