Nice spring weather

We have been enjoying wonderful spring weather this past week, and have been able to spend a ton of time outside. Here are some pictures.

We have taken the training wheels off Kate's bike, but she hasn't quite gotten the hang of riding. Both Emma and Noah took theirs off too, and figured it out, so she is anxious to start riding with her friends.

Jack has been spending most of his outside time on the slide, running around with Scout, or digging up mulch. He is not too interested in peddling his tricycle, but says he wants a big boy bike, so we might look into that for his birthday.

Will is at a very hard age for outside. He is fine when he stays on the grass/mulch and digs with Jack, but unfortunately, he loves to run back and forth across the cement, which makes me very nervous! He has been walking for a few months, but the sidewalk is not forgiving at all when you land on your face. He also refuses to wear real shoes, so only wears his soft leather ones.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
