Update 11/8/2008

Kate and Jack are starting swim lessons at the Y this weekend.  They are both very excited.  Jack's on on Saturday, and Kate's on Sunday - so they both get to have their own time with either Mommy or Daddy, whoever they want to take them to class.  Jack's class is a parent-tot class.

Jack is sleeping in his new bed all night- he just loves it!  Every once in awhile he will wake up, but usually wants to get back into his bed.

We have started a new reward system for using the potty.  If he has a dry day all day, he gets a new matchbox car at bath time.  It is motivating him, but he has only earned one car so far.

Will is doing well.  He is getting closer to walking, and will take some steps holding on to one hand.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
