Maine Trip

We had an excellent time on our vacation in Maine a couple weeks ago. (Sorry it is taking me so long to get back on track!).

We drove - all 18 hours of the trip - but it wasn't too bad. K and J watched a bunch of movies and slept, and W was pretty good too. In ME we played on the beach, went blueberry picking, and had a great time hanging out with everyone. Kate loved jumping the waves, and Jack really liked finding snails and hermit crabs in the tidal pools. Even Will really liked the beach! Pics soon.

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
