Update 7/24/08

We have some pictures to post, and will try to get that done today. We are just trying to enjoy the summer before it is gone!

Kate - has two more weeks of ballet. She really seems to enjoy it, but I think we will take a break in the fall while she is adjusting to the new 3 days of preschool (M, W, F pm). We will stay in gymnastics.

Jack - continues to be more vocal. We are trying to work on flash cards and colors!

Will - had 3 shots and the oral rotovirus vaccine yesterday. Also got his second tooth yesterday! He can now sit up from his 'crawling' and can get to what he wants. His crawl is more of an army crawl, but he does lunge forward with his belly off the ground.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
