Update 5/8/08

Kate had parent's day at school today, so the boys and I got to visit her room for the last hour of class. We had snack and then got to do centers, which is basically play time in the room. It is amazing how many different toys/games they can pack into each room, from dress up clothes to fake bugs! We took some pictures to post this weekend.

Jack has not been enjoying gymnastics as much lately. Well, he actually likes the activities, but is having a hard time leaving mom. Oh, and I am now 'mommy' not the sweet 'momma' that I had always been since J-man starting saying that word. His two most used sentences this week were 'Sorry mommy' and 'no thank you, mommy.' He is quick to say he is sorry when he thinks he is going to get a time-out.

Will is having a hard time sleeping lately. He can now roll over quite well from back to belly, so gets stuck. He will hang out for awhile on his belly, but will start squaking to get turned back over. So, typically by 12 or 1 he is awake and either stuck on his belly, or he has a leg or an arm stuck through the crib slats. I get him back to sleep, then he does it again a few hours later! He has also been waking up earlier, around 5:45 this week.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
