Update 5/20/2008

This is Kate's last week of preschool.  She seems sad that she won't get to see Mrs. Engel anymore, but we are trying to get her excited about her summer activities, including ballet, swimming and gymnastics.  She doesn't quite understand the whole 'school's out for summer' thing :).  Here are some pictures from Field Day last Thursday.

We started working on potty training Jack this week, and have been putting him in underwear the past two days.  So far it is hit or miss, but when we are at home, we are going to keep trying.

Somehow I caught a cold this weekend, and now it seems like Will has it too.  I have a doc appointment today to see if there is anything I can do to help because I usually don't get sick.  Will is supposed to have his 4-month well baby visit on Friday, which we may need to postpone.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
