Update 4/5/2008

Kate - She loves to tell people how old she is now that she is 4!  This week was spring break from school, so we spent a lot of time together.  She is enjoying her new gymnastics class  (mites 1) with both coaches KJ and Luna.  This is her first skill based class, and they actually get reviewed and must be able to complete certain skills before advancing to mites 2.

Jack -  Wow, he can talk all of a sudden!  He can say some 2- word sentences, and knows when to say please and thank you.  H continues to be fearless - like deciding to try to go out the playhouse window last night instead of the door and landing on his forehead. Just a small scrape! We are still working on the potty, and now he is better at saying when he needs to go.  Not there 100% yet, but he does use the potty 3 or so times a day, and seems to like all the attention for using the big potty :).

Will - Getting bigger and bigger!   Even some 3-6 month clothes are getting a bit small!  He has been sleeping very well lately, 7-8 hours when he first goes to sleep.  After that stretch he will wake up after just 2-3, but that is ok with me for now!  He smiles and laughs and has started batting at toys.

Paul & Anjie - We are getting our back yard mud-pit fixed next week.  I will try to take some before and after pictures.  The story is that the dog (scout, bella, gritzy) used to dig under the fence, so we installed a gate between the yards.  Then it got muddy from them running, so we tried to seed, didn't work.  So I sodded it, but it didn't root, and then Scout dug it up.  So then I hired someone to sod it, it didn't root again, and Scout dug it up again.  So, it is a mud pit.  We are having flag stone installed, and a new drain system to keep all the water running.  Can't wait!!

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
