Will weighted in today at 10 lbs 14 oz! And I was hoping he was at least 9 :). He was 7 3 at birth and 6 14 on the 23rd when he went home. The exam went well, Dr. Lo says he looks great. Only 1 shot today, but 4 next visit - yuck. Flashback from Jack's 1-month visit: Typically, babies gain about 1/2 lb a week at this age. Jack has gained a bit more... he is now at 10lbs 9oz, up from 7 at birth. That is just over a 50% gain! Kate had also grown quickly by her 1-month visit, but her increase had been just over 40%.

Wow, we have a 1 month old already! Everyday is getting easier with Will. He still doesn't sleep very well at night, and is often up from 2-3 am for some reason, but we all love him to pieces! We are getting the hang of things, and even ventured out for lunch and to the grocery store without Daddy or a Grandmother! Will is getting big - my guess is close to 9 lbs. We will find out on Monday at his 1 month checkup.

We had a wonderful time last weekend with Paul's family. We are lucky, everyone was able to come out here to meet Will and hang out with the rest of us. Thanks for traveling, everyone! I hope to post pictures tonight - sorry for the delay.

We are moving little Will to size 1 diapers today!  He is gaining weight fast and is too big for newborn diapies already.  His next appointment is 2/25, and I can't wait to see how much he weighs!

Grammy G was here last week, and we had a great time visiting with her. We are on our own this week, but doing ok so far! We have a new bedtime routine of reading our books downstairs... that way if K & J haven't settled down yet, they can still run around :). This weekend we are excited to have Mamie, Grandpa, Auntie Sarah, Uncle James and Uncle Shawn all come out to visit. The kids are thrilled and can't wait. Kate - - she is super excited about her Valentine's party at school tomorrow. We are going to get her v-day cards all ready today. Kate had a little mishap at school yesterday. Turns out that she was wearing the superman cape and another friend wanted it. She told him she wasn't done yet, (as Mrs. Engel tells them to say) but the friend didn't like that answer and kicked her in the face. Still not sure exactly how it went down, but I had to sign an incident report! She seems fine, had ice on her face when I got to school. She said she didn'...

Will was Baptized at Holy Spirit this Sunday. It was a very nice ceremony and Will was well behaved! It was great to have friends and family there to celebrate with us. Here are some pictures at Picasa.
