Disney trip was great

We had an excellent time at Disney World last week. Kate still says she is sad to be home, and the she misses Mamie, Grandpa, Auntie Sarah and Uncle James. We explored Epcot, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom and the Disney Marketplace, and took about every means of transportation possible, buses, trains, boats! Kate said her favorite ride was the carousel at Magic Kingdom, and she still talks about meeting the princesses at breakfast, especially the part when Sleeping Beauty gave her a hug. We have tons of pictures to sort through, but hope to have some up at Picasa this weekend.

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
