Update 9/18/07

Ah, sorry for the delay in posting. We are still getting used to our new schedule with Kate being in preschool now. She likes it a lot, and doesn't have a problem saying goodbye, but she is so much more tired and needy the rest of the time when she is home! Hopefully that will ease as we get further into the school year.

Jack is learning more and more each day too. He has started letting the dogs in, which is a nightmare as Amy's dog Gritzy runs all around the house and is so hard to get back out.

Jack will now come over and sit down when I need to change his diaper so I don't have to chase him!

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
