Shots, Shots and more shots

Yesterday both Kate and Jack had doctor appointments, J his 15 month check-up and K a wellness visit to get her preschool physical.

Somehow Kate had missed a couple of shots when we lived in E-town (third dose of sequence shots), so she got 2 yesterday. Really no idea how she possibly missed something, unless the nurses simply failed to write it down. But it is ok if she got the shot twice, so better to be safe.

Jack had 4 shots - 2 in each leg. The were both quite grumpy yesterday afternoon!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
