Good news from the doctor

It looks like Jack's hips are fine. Dr. Lo took a look at the x-rays, and everything seems ok. We still have to wait for the radiologist to review, but I think that is just a formality.

As for the iron - J's blood test was fine for current levels, but his iron stores are a little low. So he will get to take an Rx for a couple of months to build them back up, and then we should be all set. This is consistent with diet - Jack was never a huge fan of eating baby cereal, and he still isn't too excited about some iron rich foods like broccoli. But I guess the drops taste pretty good, so hopefully this will be an easy problem to correct.

First Day 4th Grade!

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
