Update 3/27

Kate had a wonderful birthday. She is so excited to be 3! Thanks to all of her friends and family who came over and called and sent presents, we really appreciate it!

Jack has figured out how to open the screen door, so we have had to move a baby gate to block it off when that door is open. And since it has been nearly 80 degrees the past few days, we have had it open a lot!

Jack really seems like he is teething, but so far no teeth have popped up. Hopefully they won't bother him for too much longer.

Jack is learning how to drink out of a cup, and it is a messy process! He knows how to drink, but he also knows how to dump the small amount of liquid on his tray and then splash!

First Day 4th Grade!

Bye Bye Birdie!

Tom was Ed Sullivan in the production this weekend of Bye Bye Birdie!  Kate donned her sock-hop costume from 5th grade to embrace the spirit of the show. For those of you unfamiliar with the musical,  Bye Bye Birdie is set in 1958 and was influenced by Elvis Presley being drafted into the Army in 1957.    Congrats, Tom!!

100 days left

We have just over 100 days left in the UK.  The kids are super excited to get back to the States, and we are too.  We have had a great time here, but look forward to being 'home'. This is the last week of term, and only term 3 left!  The last term supposedly goes fast, as the weather improves, there are Suzuki concerts, the talent show, and lots of field trips. We have some travel still lined up, plus some visitors to join us - looking forward to seeing you, Auntie Sarah and Uncle Aaron!  Stayed tuned for pictures of our last few adventures. We are starting to get the ball rolling on movers and pet shippers and all that fun stuff.  And we have to have the whole flat cleaned once our stuff is out. One step at a time!
