Kate's first Gymnastics Class


Kate had her first gymnastics class today. Since it is spring break, only 2 of the 4 girls were at class, so Kate and Abbey had a lot of one-on-one time with Coach Luna. The class is 1 hour long, and Anjie is not in the class with her, but Kate really didn't seem to mind. She did everything that Coach Luna asked, and looked like she had a great time. She said her favorite part of class was jumping in the foam pit. Pictures at Picasa.

Orinda Country Cotillion

The Orinda Country  Cotillion  is a forty year community tradition sponsoring a series of seven evening dance classes and welcomes all seventh graders in Orinda.  The boys are girls are both broken into two sections, so every other dance is with the opposite boy group. Two of the dances are themed (a sock hop and country -western) and the rest are semi-formal.  Last night was the first dance in the seven dance series.  Kate and her friend Zoe had a great time.  They learned the fox trot and a line dance.  Seemed like fun!
