The Riley Family

We have joined the rest of the Riley family and switched to a Toyota vehicle.  After 10 fun-filled years with the Odyssey, we have parted ways.  The new van has AWD, read no more chain control! What a difference 10 years makes on comforts in an automobile.  The kids have set up all the new gadgets and love the new van :).

Great job, Kate at the Hayward HS XC scrimmage last week!  She finished 9th out of 68 runners.  Here's a site to keep an eye on her stats for the year.

We drove up the CA and OR coasts last week with our 5-day camping road trip.  We had a great time.  some of our favorite things were the Avenue of the Giants, Florence, OR, and hanging out in Bend, OR.  We ended up in a hotel the second night as the campsite wasn't great, and we couldn't stay in our last campground due to smoke from the Carr fire, so we drove the last 4 hours home instead of camping the last night.  Here are links to all of the pictures: part 1 part 2 Iphone  pics

We had a great time at the Imagine Dragons concert on July 24.  The whole family knows their songs :).
