London!

We found out last week that we will be moving to London for a year!  Everyone is super excited, but there are lots of things to do before we go.  Updates about housing, schools, travel dates to come!

Cello Videos

As you all know, Jack plays the cello.  His teacher, Mr. Jon, is great at finding fun cello news.  Here are a couple of fun videos.  You should hear J & W giggle.... http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=BgAlQuqzl8o   http://www.youtube.com/watch? v=DKC-lRhvdNY

Jack lost his first tooth

Jack lost his first baby tooth while we were in Cancun!  He managed to keep it from going down the drain while he brushed his teeth.  He is thrilled to have finally lost a tooth and gotten a visit from the tooth fairy.

Kate is 8!

Happy Birthday, Kate!  She is 8! Since we were in Mexico on K's birthday, she got to open presents and celebrate a few days before.  And on her birthday she got to push the elevator buttons all day!

Cancun!

We went to Cancun over Spring Break and had a great time.  It was sunny and 85 most of the time, and the all-inclusive buffet was yummy :).  Kate and Jack loved going to the kids club with Miss Karla, and met friends and did lots of activities. Despite a few hard times we really enjoyed the vacation, and can laugh at our stories. A few "funny" stories from the trip: - Forgetting the kennel closes early on Sat. and having to find new lodging for 4 animals asap. - Tom poking A in the eye on the flight and popping out her contact. - Paul finding A's contact 1/2 hour later in Kate's passport!  Yeah! - Only one person puking, and only one time.  Tom, on Tuesday morning. - Only calling Dr. Walter once, for Will, who got strep or some other throat infection. - Will, the whole time.  As a reminder, Will is a bit of a drama king.  He also does not like sun, heat, sand, being sick, taking medicine, or much else besides pushing the elevator buttons.  B...

Daddy - Daughter Dance

At the beginning of March the Girl Scouts hosted their annual Daddy- Daughter Dance.  This year's theme was Winter Wonderland, which was a little out of place considering the crazy warm weather we had been having.  But Kate and Paul had a good time dancing and talking with friends.

House Projects

At the beginning of March we started some house update projects that are finally nearing completion.  Here are some pictures of the first stages.   Kate's bathroom had been leaking before, and it was in need of redo.  We are also updating the kitchen and the floors, and a leaking window.  Water is a nightmare!  Everything should be done by Jack's birthday!

Soccer Pics

Here are some pictures of Tom and Will at soccer a few weeks ago. T & W at Blue Soccer  As far as soccer goes, Kate starts practice for her WAA Tiger Sharks tonight, and Jack has his first WAA kindergarten soccer clinic after Easter.  WAA is the league they refer to as 'green soccer.'
