Happy 1st Birthday to Tom!!  We can't believe he is already 1!!

The Rileys fell like dominoes this weekend, one after another.  Only Paul was left healthy.  Luckily the virus of the house only hit each person for about two days.  It started on Thursday with Tom, then Jack Saturday, Kate and Anjie Sunday, and Will Monday.  Sudden horrible headache, and fever in the 102s were the main characteristics.   The past 5 days were filled with waking up with screaming, putting kids in the bath to cool them down, and running for the combo of motrin and tylenol.  Except T yaks up any medicine, so he screamed literally all day when he felt sick.   I think everyone actually woke up in good moods this am, knock on wood.

Our friends Danielle and Eric held a wedding reception last weekend.  Congratulations!! Of course my camera ran out of batteries with only a few pics taken :(.

Jack is thrilled about kindergarten, buying lunch, and riding the bus with all of his friends and Kate.  I think it will be a long day, but hopefully manageable.

Kate thought about joining swim team this summer, but after the first two practices, we decided to postpone Team until another year. Today is the swim placement test for lessons, with the lessons the next two weeks.  (Then a week off, two weeks of lessons, then repeat a third time). All three big kids will be taking lessons. We also have school work plans, instruments to practice, and hopefully lots of playing outside and going to the pool.  Surprisingly, the Riley kids have already been at the pool 3 times, a world record! 

School's out for summer!  The last day was Tuesday, and we are slowly adjusting to our new summer schedules.  Kate already wants school to start, and Jack is super excited about Patterson Kindergarten too!

We happen to know a firefighter at nearby station 5, and last weekend they were looking for a place to train on the truck!  What lucky little culdesac kids!!
