Jack is a bike riding machine

Jack has really started loving his bike in the past couple of weeks! We have been taking Scout for walks since the back yard is a bit of a mess (baby grass is finally growing), and Jack is always wanting to bike. He is really doing a great job.

Naval Academy for Jack

Ok, so we know he is only 3, but we are convincing Jack that he needs to go to the Naval Academy. I mean, where else do they give you guns and let you fly planes and drive ships. He is 100% on board with the plan. Grandpa Mike found some super cool Navy gear for J-man to wear!

Lake Geneva weekend

We went to Lake Geneva and stayed at Timber Ridge last weekend , to celebrate Paul's birthday. The kids loved the water park. Will is still fearless, and wanted to do the slide by himself. He would not let me help him, so we made him wear a life jacket. The water was pretty cold at the slides, so we spent a lot of time in the warmer watered lazy river.

Jack finally likes preschool

Jack is now enjoying preschool, and we haven't had any crying in a few class days. He had picture day on Tuesday, and looked super handsome! Jack was snack person on Thursday and loved being the friend leading the line and ringing the bell. He is still a bit anxious on drop off and always asks if mommy will think about him when he is at school, but really enjoys being with friends.

Backyard mud pit!

We had some dirt (2 yards ~18 wheelbarrows) added to the backyard this week to improve the soil quality and hopefully help our grass. Unfortunately it has been raining ever since, and the entire back yard is one big mud pit! It is a nightmare with Scout's paws, but we hope all the rain will help the grass seed sprout early! Now if it would only warm up a bit...
