Sick, sick, sick - take 2

It has been a very rough week. We finally got over the bad colds (ok, just realizing it was the flu, since fever, chills, etc) BUT... on Thursday early am Jack and I woke up with the stomach flu. We were feeling better Friday, then Saturday early Kate and Jack woke up with the stomach flu again! Will has been a tiny bit under the weather, but still in good spirits, so that has been fine. We have washed load after load of laundry and disinfected everything in the house... hopefully this will be the end of the sick!

Mites 3

We didn't make it to class today since everyone is still too sick for gymnastics, but Coach Rena just called to say Kate should move up to Mites 3 for the next session. Great work, Kate!

Kate's weight

At the doctor yesterday they weighed Kate, and she is still only 34 pounds! It seems like Will is even going to pass her up pretty soon! She is still in a 5 point harness, as kids are supposed to be until 40 pounds. I think we will move her to her booster (she has one with a back in Paul's car) when she is 5, because Dr. L said it would be ok since she is tall enough - over 40 inches. It is just funny to see her weight listed as a 2-3 year old on the Tylenol bottle!

Sick, sick, sick, everyone is sick

Will caught a cold last week, and of course past it on to Kate and Jack. We ended up taking K to the doctor yesterday as her cough was bad. She has a bit of bronchitis, and hopefully her meds will help her feel better soon. The boys still have the cold, but seem to be improving on their own.

Sidewalk 1, Will 0

Will lost his first battle with the sidewalk last weekend, and ended up with a big scrape down his nose :(. He isn't used to walking outside, and he refuses to wear shoes. Although now we are back to winter weather after our week of early spring, so we probably won't be out much anyway!

Will's 1 year stats

Will had his 1 year well baby visit a few weeks ago, and he weighed in at 23 lbs 8 oz and 28 3/4 inches long. He was nearly a pound heavier than Jack at 1! The weight is good though, and it allowed Dr. to say we could skip the traumatic blood tests for iron and lead.

One Missing Tooth

One down, 19 to go!

Kate lost her first baby tooth this morning! We are preparing a note for the tooth fairy, but have decided that Mommy can keep her teeth, since the tooth fairy probably has enough already. Before and after pics soon.
