Kate loves hot lunch

The kindergarten students were allowed to start the hot lunch program this week, and Kate loves it! Each day she can pick from 3 entrees, and there is always a fruit and vegetable too. The menu isn't very extensive, so hopefully she will still like it when the items start repeating!

Taking a break from Irish Dance

Kate has decided to take a break from Irish Dance. She really enjoys class, but the time wasn't working out. By the time Friday at 4:3o rolled around, after a full week of full-day kindergarten and two days of gymnastics, she was just done. Maybe we will pick it up again this winter.

Jack and preschool

Jack has been going to preschool for 2 weeks now, and is *slowly* warming up to the idea. He seems to like playing with friends and doing project time, and he loves his teacher, but is having a very hard time leaving mommy. He is earning small presents, books, for the next few class days, and has a big 'treasure chest' of tools as he calls it after 4 more classes. We are getting there, 1 day at a time!

Jack started preschool!

Jack had his first full day of preschool yesterday! He seemed to enjoy it, and even gave Mrs. Ezzi a hug on the way out. He seemed a bit tentative, and I think watched a lot of the class, but he did like it. He especially liked getting his super cool Take Apart Truck for his first day. We have pics of both his meet and greet and his first day to post soon.
